Took this while standing on the Hoover Reservoir Dam at sunset. And yes, this is Ohio’s version of the Hoover Dam—not that giant show-off out west! Lol! Ours is a little more modest. You know, no mountains, no desert, no engineering wonder of the world… just some good old-fashioned Ohio scenery and probably a few mosquitoes.
Who am I kidding? Lots of mosquitoes! Apparently, I was on the dinner menu, too!
Anyway, Herbert Hoover really cornered the dam-naming market. I mean, damn… how many dams does one guy need? 🤪😂
