When I first started blogging, I was just sharing my photography on my blog Everything Tells a Story. I’d post a photo, say something thoughtful, and pretend I totally knew what I was doing. Lol!
Then along came my Crock’s Thoughts blog, which started as me tinkering around with different writing styles just for fun. One minute I was writing about aviation history, the next I was joking about weather charts and pizza like a squirrel that drank three espressos and found unrestricted internet access.
Then along my blogging journey, I realized maintaining two separate blogs is like trying to pilot two airplanes at once. I mean, it’s exciting in theory… but when I have a day job that sucks away my time like an algae sucker fish eats that green slimy stuff off your fish tank, it’s a easier to have only one blog.
You know… I don’t think “algae sucker fish” is technically the correct name. Hmmm… I’ll need to look that up later. 🤔
Anyway… back to my original point before my brain wanders off into an aquarium documentary. Lol!
Sooo… I’ve decided to combine Everything Tells a Story into Crock’s Thoughts because Crock’s Thoughts… well, is more inline with my personality. Plus, it gives me room to share whatever shiny topic catches my attention. And, yes… I’m very distractible!
But don’t worry—which I’m sure most of you weren’t too worried about anyway—the photography isn’t going anywhere. In fact, I’ve already moved all my photo posts over to their new home. So I’ll still be sharing photography… just now on Crock’s Thoughts.
As for the content I’ve been posting on Crock’s Thoughts, that’s not really changing either. The random humor, aviation stories, history rabbit trails, and chaotic thought process will continue exactly as before. Basically, the blog is still powered by the same over-caffeinated-squirrel-chasing brain. 😂
Oh, and by the way… there are apparently a LOT of algae sucker fish species. And I don’t think I can pronounce a single one of them. So, ummm… let’s just stick with “algae sucker fish.” Deal? Deal!
