When you think of the word “successful,” who’s the first person that comes to mind and why?
Hmmm… 🤔 This is a tough one. In the words of Winnie the Pooh, “Think, think, think…” Ooh, I know! Jimmy Buffett! 🦜🏖️
I mean, he discovered a way to live a beach-bum lifestyle and make millions of dollars at the same time. How awesome is that!? 😎
I was on a similar path, too. Well, kinda-sorta similar… While working on my anthropology degree at Theeee —always add the emphasis on “The” because we are that cool 😉 — Ohio State University, I had dreams of flying sea planes in the South Pacific while working as an archaeologist. Yeah, I know… probably too much Indiana Jones and Jimmy Buffett influence in my life… lol!
Instead, I chose a much more exciting lifestyle writing about airplanes in Columbus, Ohio. I mean, yeah… I don’t have the cool guitar, a beach house, and millions of dollars… but like I said, kinda-sorta similar. 🤷😜
